The team

Full of enthusiasm!

Our team consists of four midwives and two assistants. You won’t be assigned to one specific midwife, but will be seen by all four alternately. This way you get to know us all and will be assisted by a familiar face during delivery.

As we work shifts it isn’t always possible to guarantee who will be on call when you go into labour.

But by meeting all the members of our team there will be little chance you will meet your midwife for the first time while you are giving birth.

Marinke van der Burgt

Midwife / Sonographer

My name is Marinke van der Burgt. I graduated in 2013 and have loved working as a midwife ever since! In 2015 I joined this delightful midwifery team where I do my work with great passion. Each day I enjoy my job, the clients, my colleagues and all of the beautiful moments I witness working as a midwife.
You might also meet me at the 20-week anatomy scan.

In 2018 I married my man Jan. Together we have 2 lovely sons Ted (’21) and Jip (’24).

In my spare time I like to go on trips with my husband and the kids, chat with friends or go shopping in the city!

Stacy Bax

Midwife / Sonographer / Contraception

My name is Stacy Bax and have been happily working as a midwife since 2015. After having worked in 2 regional practices in Eindhoven, I joined this practice at the beginning of 2017. Thanks to the lovely atmosphere at work, the diversity of the job and the clients I start each day full of enthusiasm! I feel truly privileged to be given the opportunity to witness one of the most precious moments in a person’s life.

When I’m not working, I like to ride my horse or meet my friends downtown for a bite to eat and a drink.

You can wake me up in the middle of the night for: Nachos and guacamole!! And of course a delivery!

Bas and I are the proud parents of our two Sons Sam (’23) and Guus (’25)!

Yosra Allaoui

Midwife / Sonographer

My name is Yosra Allaoui and I can call myself a midwife since 2021. My love for midwifery started when I experience the pregnancy and delivery of my sister when I was 16 years old. That was the moment that I knew for sure: I’m going to be a midwife! It is wonderful to be able to guide the process of a pregnancy. It is one of the most beautiful moments in life. So, it will be not surprising if I say that I love babies. Besides my love for babies, I also enjoy baking cakes and cookies and I love to make people happy with some henna art.

I am an open and honest midwife. What I think is important is creating a safe and trustable environment, offering a listening ear and above everything listening to your wishes. That is why I take you with me in everything I do. In this way I strive for a beautiful experience of your pregnancy, delivery and maternity period!

Danique van Nielen

Midwife / Sonographer / Contraception

Hello all! My name is Danique van Nielen, born and raised in Geldrop. I graduated in 2022 after many internships throughout the country. In addition to the experiences I gained in the South, Utrecht and the Achterhoek, I did my final internship at Clair de Lune (so I may be a familiar face to some).

In my spare time I often try out new dishes or baked goods in the kitchen. In addition to boxing and hockey, I enjoy doing fun things with family and friends.

I am an energetic and outgoing midwife who likes an honest and down-to-earth approach. In addition to the Brabant conviviality, I offer a listening ear and am happy to think along about your wishes and ideas. Hopefully I will see you soon!

Maike Obbink

Midwife

Hello everyone!

I am Maike Obbink. After a career in a completely different field, I followed my heart after the birth of my own children and made the switch to the wonderful profession of midwife. It is always special to be present at the beautiful and vulnerable moments in your life, and to be able to guide you on your journey to parenthood.

Together with Adrie, we are the parents of 2 fun and friendly boys: Sasha (2011) and Kent (2016)
When I am not working, I love to stand by the boys on the football field, I like to play paddle tennis and I enjoy doing fun things with friends: walking, having drinks or playing a game.
As a midwife, I will support you with confidence, calm and humor.

Maureen Jacobs

Sonographer

My name is Maureen Jacobs. I have been a certified sonographer in obstetrics and gynecology since 1999. Over the years, I have worked in various hospitals and midwifery practices. Since September 2025, I have also been part of the Clair de Lune practice, where you will mostly find me performing the 13-week and 20-week scans. Each scan is a special moment, revealing what exactly is growing inside that beautiful belly.

I am a mother of three children: Lauren (2001), Finnean (2003), and Janske (2006). In my free time, I love walking in nature with my partner Patrick, our Labrador Loïs, and our Dachshund Leentje. You can also often find me at the Zeeland coast. I enjoy cooking, but even more so warm and sunny weather.

I hope to offer you a warm and memorable first meeting with your future baby — in the form of a beautiful ultrasound.

Ella Erkelens

Practice assistant

I have been working as a practice assistant at Claire de Lune since August 2017. I used to be a GP receptionist but after that I had a clerical job at a school for higher professional education for 13 years. So now I’ve gone full circle and returned to my old field!

It is so uplifting to work with a target group of predominantly happy clients who come to my desk to have their blood pressure taken, their blood sampled, be weighed and plan appointments. I also love working with the midwives!

I myself have a daughter and a son. Two lovely pubers!

In my spare time I act in theatrical productions at dance theatre Interact, where I love to sing and dance.
