First checkup
You can contact us as soon as you know that you are pregnant. We’ll make an appointment for the first checkup when you are roughly 8 weeks along.
During the intake appointment we will discuss the following subjects:
- Your health.
- Your last menstruation and presumptive due date.
- Any defects or illnesses that run in your or your partner’s family.
- Previous pregnancies and deliveries.
- Possible examinations at the start of the pregnancy.
- Maternity care and prenatal exercises.
Follow-up checks
After the first appointment you will return regularly for checkups. At the end of the pregnancy we will monitor the state of you and your baby on a weekly basis.
During the course of your pregnancy we will make sure that you get to know all of the midwives so you will be assisted by a familiar face when your baby is born.
